There is a rich history of filmmaking across the East End of Long Island. From romantic seaside meetups to eccentric families in dilapidated mansions, some of the most memorable scenes in film history have taken place in our backyard. The Playhouse’s new series East End Cinema aims to celebrate the people, stories, and unique encounters specific to the region, while catalyzing a broader conversation about future opportunities for film productions to shoot here.
