Montauk musician Joe Delia will perform live music alongside a screening of the movie, injecting new layers of artistry into this powerful, enduring story.  A controversial achievement upon its release, Ms. 45 has been celebrated over the years as an early example of feminist horror. After mute seamstress Thana (Zoe Lund) experiences a harrowing assault on her way home from her work, she begins exacting revenge against toxic men throughout a grimy New York City with her .45 caliber pistol. Culminating with a memorable Halloween party showdown, Ms. 45 is a gripping and subversive look at one woman taking charge against an abusive society.  Delia, best known locally for his collaborations with fellow musician Nancy Atlas, joins the Playhouse for this unique live performance that follows up on last year’s live accompaniment to the silent masterpiece Nosferatu.
